Dental Esthetics in Practice is a course comprised of five modules:

	•		Focus on the Patient
	•		Dental Esthetics and the Practice
	•		Understanding Color & Shade
	•		Overview of Esthetic and Restorative Procedures
	•		Tooth Whitening

The course material is intended to supplement your study of esthetic dentistry. It is recommended to view the modules in the order presented. Each module is independent, however, so you can view them in any order.

Within the text of each module, you will see colored, graphical icons. These icons indicate that there is a Practical Application to supplement the material you are reading. Practical Applications consist of videos, demonstrations, downloadable pdf files and quizzes.

When you come across a Practical Application in your reading, you can either stop and view the Practical Application or go back to it later. To view the Practical Application at that time, click on the icon in the text. (The name of the Practical Application will appear when you place your cursor over the icon.) Use the Practical Applications menu on the right-hand side of the screen to access Practical Applications at any time.

You will also notice within the text of each module that material has been referenced (indicated by a superscript number). To view the references, simply click on the superscript number. This action will bring up a separate window containing all the references noted in the module.

Some modules also contain text that is hyperlinked (indicated by blue text that is underlined). This means that more information can be viewed on that topic by clicking on the hyperlinked text.
